POSITION SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to administer and perform payroll and accounts payable functions to the facility in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to the long-term care operation, and as may be directed by the Executive Director and/or BOM.

 


 

 KEY JOB FUNCTION:

  • Provide timely, accurate and complete payroll processing.
  • Provide basic expertise and answer employee payroll questions.
  • Accurately reconciles payroll register against Time and Attendance system.
  • Provide assistance to employees to timely and accurately enroll in benefit programs.
  • Facilitates benefit enrollment process for new employees and during Open Enrollment.
  • Process accounts payable timely and accurately.  
  • Track and monitor expenses according to budgets. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Must possess, at a minimum a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess, at a minimum 3-5 years experience in bookkeeping or accounting practices in payroll preparation.
