    The Earn Your CNA License While You Learn Program.


    At Pacific Coast Manor, we are interested in receiving applications for candidates interested in earning their CNA License.


    The Earn While You Learn Program provides candidates with an opportunity to build a career in the healthcare industry.

    Covenant Care will pay for the 5 Week Training Course and CNA License Exam.

    During the course of the Program, each candidate will be paid $12.58/hr and then advanced to $16/hr upon successful completion of the CNA exam.

    • The Earn While You Learn Program is a 5 Week Training Course at the Mountain View facility of the Covenant Care facilities in California. We wil arrange a carpool and pay the driver for mileage.
    • At the end of the 5 Week Training Course, each candidate will take the CNA Licensure Exam.
    • After passing the CNA Licensure Exam, each candidate will be offered a Full-Time position at Pacific Coast Manor.





    The primary purpose of this position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.




    • Identifies residents before administering treatments, serving meals, etc., as necessary.

    • Reports all changes in the resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
    • Records all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative, descriptive manner.
    • Measures and records temperatures, pulses, and respirations (TPRs) of residents, as instructed.
    • Answers resident call promptly and checks residents routinely to ensure that their personal care needs are being met.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Must possess, at a minimum a High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
    • Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
