    POSITION SUMMARY: The Physical Therapist (PT) provides medically prescribed physical therapy to patients in their homes in accordance with physician’s plan of care and company policies. PT's provide consultation to other health care team members who share responsibility for patient care, and assesses the patient and participates in the development of the physical therapy program.


    Part time and prn Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunities are available for the general areas of: SALINAS.




    • Provides supervision to the Physical Therapy Assistants and communicates with physician and other members of the health care team for the delivery and coordination of quality physical therapy services.
    • Provides physical therapy services in accordance with applicable State, Federal, Medicare, Medi-cal and other regulations and standards.
    • Performs physical therapy procedures, measurements, evaluations and diagnostic tests on patients in the home for whom they have been medically prescribed to aid in establishing or revising specifics of treatment program and communicates with physician appropriately.
    • Translates all exercises to patient/CG/staff into functional activities or activities of daily living.
    • Assists with orientation, provides supervision and consultation services to Physical Therapy Assistants and documents assignments, instructions and supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants effectively, updating assignments as needed.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree and graduation from a program approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Physical Therapy or Other comparable program.

    • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.

    • Work experience of at least one (1) year under a qualified Physical Therapist.

    Preferred Requirements

    • Home Health experience preferred.
