Covenant Care, in Aliso Viejo, California, is looking for a Worker's Compensation Coordinator to join our team. Our "family" includes over 5,600 professionals, serving over 20,000 patients a year, operating 34 skilled nursing facilities, 4 assisted living facilities, a therapy services company, and home health agencies in multiple states.

We have a passion for providing top-quality care, effective rehabilitation, and genuine connection-and we know our employees are the life blood of our organization.  Achieving our mission is in the hands of every staff member who cares for patients or facilitates our collaborative team environment.

Our culture is based on each employee treating others with respect, trust, compassion, and teamwork to deliver on our mission.  We take pride in delivering excellent healthcare while providing our employees the opportunity to advance their health care career with hands-on experience, training, and paths for growth and development.  Joining Covenant Care means being part of a supportive family that works hard together and are passionate about caring for others.  While we are a large company we at time operate like a smaller organization.  Our mission is “We are Family serving Families”.

    Minimum Requirements

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who has at least three (3) years of experience managing worker's compensation claims.  We will look to you to be the subject matter expert in all areas that touch worker's compensation.  We operate in a multi-state environment, so knowing about how other states manage their WC claims, is a definite plus.

You should be confident in your computer skills to write communication to the injured employee and adjusters, create a spreadsheet using Excel, and navigating the HRIS and other systems we use to manage our workload on a daily basis.

We are seeking the person who is able to exercise good judgement and has the ability to make independent decisions when necessary, but also knows when to escalate when warranted.  You should be a problem solver who prides themselves on being detail oriented.  We need someone who has that "jump in" and get the job done attitude.

This is not an entry-level position, but also not a claims examiner position - it sits right in the middle on the experience range.
