    POSITION SUMMARY: The primary purpose of the Health Information Manager is to lead and manage the Health Information Department. 




    • Accurately and timely assembles resident records into respective electronic and paper files.
    • Monitors compliance of documentation via each of the clinical applications.
    • Provides qualitative and quantative reports on data and analytics to Executive Director (ED) and Director of Nursing (DON).
    • Closes, files, stores, and destroys records per regulations and Covenant Care's policies.
    • Follows Covenant Care's auditing guidelines and provides required documentation needed for triple-check.
    • Completes follow-up on consultant reports timely and responds to all records requests according to company policies.
    • Maintains labor expenses and other expenses [i.e. supplies, etc.] for department within budget.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Must have, as a minimum 3-5 years experience in a Health Information Department in a health care facility.
    • Must have previous related operational and supervisorial experience.
    • Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility or department which may include a medical and physical examination.
