    About the Company:

    Covenant Care owns and operates skilled nursing facilities and a therapy services company.  Our “family” includes over 8,500 professionals operating 55 skilled nursing facilities, 4 assisted living facilities, home health services, and a therapy services company in 7 states.  Our goal is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care in a comfortable safe environment.   As a Nurse Recruiter on our team, you will have a direct and powerful impact on our field being able to provide this top notch service to our patients.


    The territory consists of 27 Skilled Nursing facilities and 4 Residential Care facilities in California and Nevada.  Your focus will be to find Registered Nurses & Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses..  There will be some travel to attend regional leadership meetings.


    This position will be Remote / Virtual. 


    Recruiting Strategies – 

    • Responsible for recruiting/marketing strategies to find licensed nursing staff. (RN & LVN/LPN)
    • Manage the full recruitment cycle to include sourcing, evaluating and coordinating the interview process.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline external top candidates for future openings.
    • Participate in strategic leadership meeting to develop and execute the recruiting strategy.
    • Research and implement appropriate selection techniques to hire the best talent.


    Selection process

    • Post, Screen and Submit applicants to the Hiring Manager for consideration.
    • Facilitate the interviewing and screening process for the Applicant & Hiring Managers.
    • Educate the field on the recruiting Best Practices which have been put in place.
    • Host scheduled recruiting calls with the field to address staffing needs.
    • Help create a smooth and positive candidate experience for Candidates through entire recruiting process.

    Minimum Requirements


    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum 3-5 years Recruiting experience in an in house role within Health Care organization, preferably long term-care

    Location and Travel

    • The position location is virtual /remote based in California and ideally near our facilities.
    • Up to 20% travel, with occasional travel to the various facilities, meetings or job fairs.
