    Covenant Care has been in business for over 20 years.  However, our recruiting function is relatively new for the organization.  It is a very exciting time to help standardize our recruiting approach and strategy.  It is an innovative time for us.  It is a time with some ambiguity mixed with converting those unknowns into clear & replicable processes.   This is why we need an experienced and savvy recruiter to be a dynamic partner in our journey to recruiting success!

    About the Company:

    Covenant Care owns and operates skilled nursing facilities and a therapy services company.  Our “family” includes over 8,500 professionals operating 54 skilled nursing facilities, 4 assisted living facilities, home health services, and a therapy services company in 7 states.  Our goal is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care in a comfortable safe environment.   As a Clinical Recruiter on our team, you will have a direct and powerful impact on our field being able to provide this top notch service to our patients.


    The territory consists of 27 Skilled Nursing facilities and 4 Residential Care facilities in California and Nevada.  Your focus will be to find Certified Nursing Assistants.  There will be some travel to attend regional leadership meetings.


    This position will be Remote / Virtual. 


    Recruiting Strategies – 

    • Responsible for recruiting/marketing strategies to find Certified Nursing Assistants.
    • Post, Screen and Submit applicants to the Hiring Manager for consideration.
    • Research and implement creative techniques to increase inbound applicant flow.
    • Manage the recruitment cycle to include the interview process.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline external top candidates for future openings.
    • Participate in strategic leadership meeting to develop and execute the recruiting strategy.
    • Research and implement appropriate selection techniques to hire the best talent.
    • Educate the field on the recruiting Best Practices which have been put in place.
    • Host scheduled recruiting calls with the field to address staffing needs.
    • Initiate,facilitate and attend job fairs.

    Minimum Requirements


    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum 3-5 years Recruiting experience in an in house role within Health Care organization, preferably long term-care
    • Experience working in a Remote capacity in a previous job.

    Location and Travel

    • The position location is virtual /remote based in California and ideally in Orange County or the Bay area.
    • Up to 20% travel, with occasional travel to the various facilities, meetings or job fairs.
